Q. What type of scooters do you rent?
A. We rent 3 or 4 wheel, battery operated scooters that are different sizes that vary according to the weight of the patron.
Q. Where will you be located at the different events?
A. We are generally located near the handicapped parking. For the exact location, please call 567-674-8729 prior to your arrival.
Q. What are your operating hours?
A. We open at 8 am and close at 5 pm on weekdays and Saturdays. Sundays we are open at 8 am and close around 3 pm.
Q. How far in advance do I need to make my reservations?
A. We begin taking reservations in January each year. The earlier you make your reservations, the better chance you have for renting a scooter. Some of the events we attend are so large that there are possibilities if you wait too long to make your reservation they will be "sold out".
Q. What is the process for making a reservation?
A. You can make a reservation by calling 567-674-8729 or email us at elholbrook@thewavz.com. To make a reservation we will need the following information: Name of the person that will be driving the scooter; Weight of the person; Date(s) needed; Time of arrival (must be prior to 10 am); Cell phone number.
We operate very differently from other companies taking reservations. We do not take credit cards over the phone and only charge you when you arrive to rent the scooter. We work on the honor system - that means, if you make a reservation and decide that you will not be needing the scooter, we ask that you call us and let us know so someone else will have the opportunity to rent one. We do not charge for cancellations. The reason we operate our business this way is that we always try to treat our customers as we would want to be treated.
Q. If I reserve a scooter, do I have to pick it up at a certain time?
A. Yes, all reserved scooters must be picked up by 10 am.
Q. What do you charge to rent a scooter?
A. Each event is different as costs vary. Generally, scooters rent for $50.00 to $60.00 per day. For an exact price for each event, please call 567-674-8729 or email us at elholbrook@thewavz.com.
Q. What credit cards or payments do you accept?
A. We accept VISA and MasterCard or cash.
